"We booked a few nights at the Hidden Cottage and simply loved the place! The cottage is located not far from a village, in a pretty countryside area. The house had everything you needed and the cottage was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. My 13 year old son particularly appreciated the soccer field we had access to!  I recommend this place during your stay in Iceland!"

"House was clean and very spacious. Plenty of heat and hot water. Being right on the water was wonderful. We used the hot tub almost every night. Our first night there, a pod of whales swam by while we were in the hot tub. Grenivik is a lovely location, a quiet town about half an hour from the city and all its amenities. "Wow, what a treat! We had the absolute best time at this guesthouse. The host was very friendly and offered great advice about the next leg of our trip. We had a lovely breakfast with homemade pastries from the host’s mother. There is a hot tub with an incredible view of the fjord. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer."

"The only thing negative is the listing showed “Laundry”. That usually means a laundry room that one can do there own laundry. This was you call and the family comes to get it for a fee. It’s lovely in the open country and easy to get to. "
