"We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!"

"Really nice accommodation in a very nice location. Well presented and clean lodge with great view of the Lake. Brilliant welcome pack very informative and welcome advice on walks and where to go. Enjoyed the area 15 min drive to Keswick, I found that the turn off from the road to the site is a short distance from the signage and recommend hiiting your indicator as soon as you have passed the sign and start slowing as you often have cars travelling at speed behind you. Communication with our host was seamless. We loved that within a matter of steps, we were in the center of town and had such easy access to a wide variety of beautiful hiking trails. "Great little cottage, definitely remote (but easy to find) and with a lovely wild little garden, albeit it shared with the next door cottage, so care is needed when letting dogs (and children)! in and out. Was very well appointed although we had a couple of little niggles, being a loose toilet roll holder downstairs and we found it very dusty and would definitely benefit from a top to toe bottoming with a damp cloth, surfaces, inside cupboards etc. Finally we weren't overlly keen on the lack of...

"An ideal quiet location with access to Penrith and the Lakes. Well appointed modern property, private parking. Host could not have been more friendly and helpfull. We did have a couple of issues with the Verbo discription verse actual facilities- however host was quick to sort out and offered us alternative very close by. Thanks for that. All in all we had a great stay and would not hesitate to book again next time we visit the lakes."

"A very nicely refurbished cottage with all necessary equipment and appliances. 50 metres walk to the mostly deserted beach. Not much to do in Powfoot itself, so driving is essential. Caravan park cafe very good and Powfoot hotel good if you don't have a dog."

"Clift Hill is a fabulous place to stay. We were a group of 20 friends and family and we loved the house. It's extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. It has impressive rooms and views but it also feels very homely. The kids (aged between 4 and 11) had a brilliant time exploring the house and gardens, playing with the games and outdoor play equipment and taking over the hot tub."

"My friend and I stayed here for a few days and we had a great time. The apartment was super clean, really modern, spacious and comfortable and just the perfect place to go back to after a long walk. It’s near loads of nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops in a great location with nearby parking provided by the host. Steve was quick to respond to any messages and queries we had. Will definitely be going back!"
