PKs Jungle Village - Hostel

1.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (57)
"We have been coming to PKs for a few years now. It is safe to say that the area has become a lot busier in these COVID times. Unfortunately - PKs had been closed for a spell and had just re-opened. This meant the pool wasn't finished or usable. They had also got rid of all the plants in that area - which changed the space a lot. Shantara Resort Port Douglas - Adults Only Retreat

4.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (771)
"The perfect place to stay! There is lots of parking available if you have a car. If you don't have one, don't worry as it's a short walk to the port, shops and restaurants. The hotel room we stayed in was really clean, comfortable and roomy. There was also a washing machine and room spa which made the stay even more perfect! Overall, it was a relaxing stay as the place is really quiet and relaxing :) We would definitely stay again if we came back to Port Douglas!"

"We arrived in mid afternoon and were warmly greeted and welcomed. We were told about the room and then made our way. The property is convenient to everything being right downtown next to restaurants, coffee shops and retail. The room was clean and most everything we needed was there. Staff were friendly and competent. The property is older but clean and we were sad to leave having enjoyed a wonderful sytay."

"What a great unique property tucked in so close to the strip area, yet you would never know. Lots of amenities close by. Sadly, we were only able to visit for 4 nights, and loads of rain. Still able to enjoy pool area, which has the feeling of a tropical garden. Will definitely be planning to return to Port Douglas and this beautiful property, for a much longer visit "
