"We arrived in mid afternoon and were warmly greeted and welcomed. We were told about the room and then made our way. The property is convenient to everything being right downtown next to restaurants, coffee shops and retail. The room was clean and most everything we needed was there. Staff were friendly and competent. The property is older but clean and we were sad to leave having enjoyed a wonderful sytay."

"What a great unique property tucked in so close to the strip area, yet you would never know. Lots of amenities close by. Sadly, we were only able to visit for 4 nights, and loads of rain. Still able to enjoy pool area, which has the feeling of a tropical garden. Will definitely be planning to return to Port Douglas and this beautiful property, for a much longer visit "

"Truly an excellent place, the owners didnt hesistate to put the best building materials into the villa. There are at least 5 to 6 towel hangers in bathroom. No stinginess there. The architect did an amazing job making a 2 BR villa look big, and on our first entry we said "wow". "Nice apartment in a good central location ... only 10 minutes from the main street in Port Douglas. Lovely welcome from the receptionist, Rhian, who gives a great first impression. Nice swimming pools, although could do with some umbrellas over lounges for some shade. Balcony area was dirty and therefore not inviting. Overall a good stay though."

"Large room with kitchenette and separate bedroom. Excellent location. In the centre of the 'tourist area', steps to numerous bars and restaurants. Grocery store / bottle store 3 minute walk. Covered secure parking. Our balcony faced the rear of the property, where construction is underway on a new building. Not a problem for us (they advised us before our arrival of the construction to allow us to change) but, it may block the view when completed. Great place to stay in Port Douglas."

"This was our 3rd time staying in PD, first time at Saltwater - which was absolutely amazing. The location right in town on Macrossan is awesome. It is right in the middle of everything, but still very quiet in the room. So much easier than grabbing a shuttle all the time if you stay at the resorts out of town which we had done previously. Staff were very kind, kids loved the pool. Apartments are spacious with high ceilings and a nice outlook from balcony. We will be back!"
