"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"Really nice property with lovely views. Nice owner. The check in process was a bit difficult due to navigation issues as it is hard to find recommend using what 3 words app to help. Surrounding area is very quiet if you are looking for a quiet get away. Very clean area and property. However there is no wifi and the property was listed to have this and the gas fire did not come with any instructions so we could not use it, but there is a heated floor which is lovely. "

"Booked this fairly last minute for a bit of peace and quiet and good views and it did not disappoint! Place was spotless with everything you could need. Beautifully situated to give amazing views while also giving you quiet. Love my neighbours entertaining me - the wonderful animals on the property 😃 will definitely be back again ❤️"

"This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). "Just want to point out accessibility issues not highlighted on property description: Very steep hill from the car park up to the tents and then further up to the toilets and cabin, slippery in the rain and beds are mattresses on the floor. Beautiful location, tents cozy despite bad weather and all slept well."

"This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It’s right in the shopping area. Everything is in walking distance. It’s very clean inside, all of the amenities made me feel as though I was at home. Modern apartment. The staff were really nice, specifically Jack. Parking was very convenient, I never actually needed my car as we walked everytwjere. I will always stay here whenever I come to Liverpool. I would highly recommend this place. "

"We had the most amazing stay at The Titanic hotel back in Feb. We stayed midweek and had a great time. The room was massive and the bed so comfortable! Spacious bathroom with ‘his & here’ double sink. Large shower and bath. We paid extra to use the spa facilities however didn’t really rate this. Felt it was a little bit overbooked for the amount of space available. Would definitely stay again and recommend the Titanic hotel to others but wouldn’t visit the spa again."

" I had an excellent stay at The Halyard Liverpool from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with hot chocolate and rum at reception—a thoughtful and unique touch that set the tone for a fantastic experience. The room was perfect—spacious, with the ideal temperature and top-notch facilities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with luxurious bed linen and pillows that made for a wonderful night’s sleep. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure maximum comfort. The bathroom amenities were outstanding—the shower gel and shampoo were the best I’ve ever used, adding a touch of luxury to my stay. "Lovely hotel. The lady at the check-in desk was friendly and professional. Overall, the cleanliness was good, only thing is, I found an orange stain on one of the towels in the bathroom when we got there. Great location, very central but still nice and quiet. The breakfast was nice. We would stay here again. "
