"We booked this hotel for 2 nights, before our cruise. It is a lovely Victorian with charm and convenience. Being on St Charles Ave, the streetcar is right in front of the hotel. And right in the middle of the French Quarter and the Garden District of New Orleans. Restaurants, cocktail lounges, and shopping, are all within walking distance as well. Our host Diane was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We are looking forward to another stay here, next time we get to New Orleans. "

"Overall, this was a very good place for our family of four. The property is very clean & had all the amenities we had hoped for. It is spacious with lots of closet & dresser space. It is well decorated, all the appliances are new & clean, and the beds & couches are super comfortable. "room was not cleaned when we arrived, bed unmade, towels on floor. To their credit, they sent someone right over and left a bottle of wine. Security light went on all night keeping us up ( Bottom floor ). Location was good, Recommend second or third floor if your staying. Since room was not cleaned, we were worried someone else had access to door lock code ( all doors outside as this is a large home renovated to hotel rooms.
