Nice budget hotel
This hotel was good. We came into the hotel and were greeted right away and lead to our rooms. After about 10 minutes a staff member was knocking at our door and in his hands were clean towels and warm tea.

Hotel close to downtown Cusco
The hotel room was small, and the bathroom was locked upon arrival. Very cold with no heater.

Helpful staff, nice stay
The staff was very helpful for all needs including information and transportation away from the hotel. Staff stored our extra bags till we returned, and placed them in our same room, upon return (from Sacred Valley) for the last night stay.

Machu Picchu Here I Come!!!
Took 20 minutes to walk downtown square. Took longer for me because I kept stopping at the sites and memorials in the middle of the road ... goes right up El Sol to Mail Square. Right past large Art Market, banks, Western Union, Money Gram, Post Office and more. Phone in room. Lots of Hot Water at all hours. The price is right. Simple breakfast. Safe to walk outside. FAST WiFi! in room #103. Lots of Blankets. 3 English TV Channels.

Our one night stay
We booked this hotel to save some money and to try it out we only booked it for one night, let me start off by saying Jorge and Julio and great, they are really nice guys and they will assist you anyway they can, the problem for us was location, the taxi had a problem finding the hotel and every other taxi did too, also what happened to us, was that the first night in cusco it rained hard in the city and we got really wet, we had to take a taxi wet which is 10minutes about 3-4 soles back to the hotel which made us uncomfortable, they do have hot water which helped but no heater and the room was really cold. We decided to stay somewhere closer to the plaza de armas so we can can walk anywhere And would be easier for us for the next day.

Environment & Staff
There is a lot of noise around and in the hotel. The neighborhood is not good. We heard everything. In the middle of the night some people where loudly banging on some doors, our telephone (in the room) rang during the night. The staff from the hotel was polite but we had little help when ask.

You could find better
The hotel is good with hot water and staff are super helpful but unable to speak English. Breakfast consists of 2 pieces of bread with jam. It's about a 20 minute walk to the main square. Most of all of you looking for a good night sleep, this is not the hotel for you, the noise at night is unbearable ! The wifi also did not work sometimes.

A Little Out of the way but worth it
This hotel was not near the tourist area of Cusco but was super comfortable and the person behind the desk was a super helpful and friendly guy. Anything that you needed he was able to provide. When we landed and took a taxi we were told that it was 20 minutes and $50 soles not really knowing we talked them down to $40 soles. Well so there is written record and someone can read this and use it the cab ride is 5 minutes and should actually cost $10 soles. We were told not to walk around in the neighborhood by the cab driver as it wasn't safe. I'm not sure about the neighborhood but I can say that I never felt unsafe. I took the cab driver as trying to make sure that we took a cab everywhere because we'd be too scared to walk. Well we walked everywhere and nothing happened, no one even approached us. I'll let you make the call on your comfort about walking around. The hotel itself was exactly what we needed clean bathrooms with hot water and a place to leave our bags while we hiked Machu Picchu. There was zero issue with leaving our bags and the hotel person also got up with us at 5:30am to make sure everything was good and to let us out of the hotel as it is locked in the evening. All in all one of the better stays in South America!

Passable room but nothing special
This hotel was OK, but nothing special. It is not close to sites in Cusco (which we knew before we booked it). Other reviews stating that taxi drivers may no know where it is, are definitely accurate. Rooms were reasonably clean, but very simple and cramped -- a "triple" consisted of shoving a third bed into a room that was previously a "double". The rooms smelled of coca leaves and coca tea. The staff seemed very disorganized -- when we checked out, they did not know how many nights we stayed (one). We had an early train to Machu Picchu and asked if we could have breakfast a little early (6:30 instead of 7:30); we were told that they could not have any food available, but would have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the morning. The hot water for coffee was ready < 5 minutes before we had to leave; they provided decaffinated Nescafe (regular Nescafe was not available); there was no hot chocolate.

A little gem in Cusco
The Inkas Inn is a surpising little outpost in the quiet suburbs of Cusco that is a sweet little gem and a bargain. Just a short, cheap taxi ride from the center, the airport, and the rail/bus stations if you are headed to Maccu Piccu from here. The Inn is in surprising good condition. Breakfast is some barebones bread and coffee, but sufficient to get a start. The staff was very nice and helpful with any questions (although I don't know if they are English-speaking; I happen to speak fluent Spanish, so the issue didn't come up). If you don't feel the need to stay in the center and near the action, the Inkas is a perfect place to stay. A complimentary pot of mate tea upon arrival was another nice touch. Oh, the wi-fi works well.

Inkas Inn Cusco
This place is a little out of the way and many Taxi drivers haven{t heard of it so make sure either they pick you up or you have the address and make sure the driver knows where to go . There are street lights in front of the hotel so make sure you have a room at the back or above the level of the light . The staff are friendly and helpful. If you don´t mind not being near the centre of the city , museums etc its certainly an option worth considering

Cusco City - Machu Picchu
We just completed a stay at Inkas Inn Cusco. Julio, the property manager was very accomodating and met our every need. On the 3rd day of our stay we returned from Machu Picchu after the hotel breakfast, but Julio graciously fed us after the breakfast had concluded. Julio also took care of us when we checked in early - our triple room was not yet ready, but Julio provided another room until our room was ready so we could rest from a weary road of travels - first class treatment. The Inkas Inn is not the Taj Mahal but it is a very reasonable place to stay in Cusco.

Unbeatable quality in this price range!!
Cannot recommend this hotel enough, for those of us travelling on a shoe string and looking for a little comfort it is perfect! Same price as a hostel! Rooms were modern and immaculate, the breakfast was a bonus and the staff were just great. A short walk into Cusco (ten minutes or so). My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and it was perfect!

Very friendly service
This is a nice and cheap hotel. The location is a bit out of the centre, but still it is possible to walk to Plaza de Armas in 15 minutes. I really liked the familiar feeling about the place and the people working there will go out of their way to please you. The rooms are a bit cold in winter time, but a good thing is that they have hot water 24 hours a day. The rooms are basic but all have cable tv, a small desk and chair. All in all a very nice experience staying at this hotel and I would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers that are looking for a cheap no frills hotel.
