"Friendly front-desk staff and very quick. Would recommend the hotel to maybe invest in some nets around the restaurant/food area. The flies during breakfast were not pleasant. However, the breakfast buffet was MARVELOUS!! "

"Terrible Experience,, Came to our room with no bedsheets and towels.. These were given till the next day at 4:45.Message and Mail was send to them, There was no feedback and no communication what so ever. They did not make anything of the situation. Even at check out no one approached us. "

"The Wynwood is a fabulous boutique hotel within walking distance of downtown and the cruise ports. The street is busy with lots of restaurants! No need to go far! The staff eas very customer service focused and super friendly. I would definitely stay again! Thanks for everything!"

"Location was excellent, close to several nice restaurants, shopping nearby(yuck for me!) and many activities within walking access. Staff was very nice, helpful and full of great suggestions and tips. Small pool with afternoon and evening food and drink service. We really enjoyed our stay here. "

"The Beach House provides very nice accommodations by a lovely private beach. There are many eating options and the staff will help you book services if you haven’t ahead of time. Our family had the best vacation! "

"Beautiful property, we had a complimentary upgrade and the room was amazing. We felt right at home, had all the amenities you need. The property itself felt quiet and relaxing yet had everything you need close by(5-10 minute walk). Staff was excellent and helped with all our check in/check out needs. Will definitely be back in the future "

"The location was perfect by the bridge. So spacious I wish my friends and family were with us. Every amenity was there. Huge bath tub but dont think the jets worked. The top burner was very hard to see to turn on and had to get the staff to come and show us how. Even a small roof top patio above the monk stairs to share with the other two floors. One of the best places i have stayed. Highly recommend it. Great value."

"Me gustó mucho la ubicación del lugar, el personal muy amable. Igual a las fotos, muy bonito y cómodo. El cuarto muy obscuro por la noche y el área del baño obscura todo el día. Si van dos personas el baño puede ser incómodo ya que no tiene puerta o separación física con el resto del cuarto. "

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning Vrbo house, the pearl of Jan Thiel, Curaçao, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm and layout of this beautiful property.The first thing that struck us was how comfortable the beds were—truly a dream! Each night felt like a luxurious retreat, ensuring we woke up refreshed and ready to explore the island. The thoughtful design of the house maximizes both space and comfort, creating a true home-away-from-home atmosphere.The outdoor pool area was nothing short of a tropical paradise. We spent countless hours lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the serene surroundings. The outdoor lounge area was perfect for relaxing with a good book or sipping cocktails as the sun set. It offered a fantastic blend of comfort and style, making it an ideal spot for both socializing and unwinding.Proximity to Attractions was a hit! Beautiful, peaceful condo located on gorgeous peninsula. Only meters from beach!

convenient apartment in good location

"We stayed in a cozy two-bedroom apartment that offered everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom with a shower, and there was an additional toilet with a sink located in the living room. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials: a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, dripping coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and a full set of dishes, glasses, and cookware. One of the highlights of the apartment was the long terrace that spanned the length of the living room. However, we didn’t use it much because of the flying insects, which are common everywhere in Curaçao and didn’t impact our overall experience with the property. The apartment was located on the ground floor with windows facing the inner courtyard, offering a peaceful ambiance. The property complex consisted of several three-story buildings and included a nice swimming pool with a shower and toilet facilities nearby. The complex also had its own beach, which was a mixed experience. Swimming there wasn’t the most convenient due to the sand ending at the water’s edge and giving way to rocks. However, the snorkeling was fantastic, making it a great spot for underwater exploration. Overall, this apartment and property offered a comfortable stay with excellent amenities and a convenient location, perfect for a relaxing vacation in Curaçao"

Great House, Great Location, Great for Families

"The house was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and spacious, with plenty of communal areas to gather and rooms to keep to one's own (teenagers). The outdoor space by the pool was fantastic and really the ideal place to spend your time. Also, having been to Curacao several times, we found this location to be our favorite with its proximity to Jan Thiel beach, supermarkets, great restaurants and more. And Mandy the property manager could not have been more helpful and communicative – would not be surprised if she had some sort of hand in arranging the perfect weather."

Luxury 12 person Villa with great views of Spanish Water and Caracas Bay.

"We absolutely loved everything about this house! The pictures didn't do it justice. The views are incredible! The outdoor eating area is so spacious for our family of 9. The beds and pillows are so comfortable! Everything about this house is wonderful. Our host was very helpful and had some drinks and snacks to welcome us. I would definitely stay here on our next trip to Curacao "

Lovely, relaxing condo located on beautiful peninsula. Only meters from beach!

Palapa Beach Resort 2024

"The property was nice and quiet. The beach out back was good for snorkeling and several beaches really close that are also good for snorkeling. Tugboat beach was our favorite and just right down the street. The electricity provided was not enough, we were very careful with using the A/C and still had to pay more at the end of the week, I would take off 1/2 star for that, if I had that option, but it wasn't enough to take off a whole star. Around $80 USD extra is what we had to pay. Do not go to Van Den Tweel Supermarket, it is about twice the price of Mangusa Hypermarket, if you love dogs as we do, get a bag of dog food to carry in your trunk while there, there are lots of stray dogs and they just want something to eat and all seemed very friendly. If you are planning a trip to Klein Curacao, Mermaid Boat tours is within walking distance about 5 minutes or less. Pasawa Box Eatery was our favorite restaurant, you do need to drive, but they have a lot of choices of food at good prices. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely go back keeping in mind that we would have to pay additional electricity at the end of our stay."

2-bedroom apartment with stunning sea views from all windows and balcony.

Caribbean Paradise

"The location couldn’t be better - directly on the beach! The ocean waves are just a few meters from the balcony. The beach is perfect and usually completely vacant. Snorkeling is amazing right off the shore in shallow water. We saw a whole variety of fish, sea urchins, coral, eels, crabs, etc. There are three restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend the gouda cheese balls from Brisa do Mar and the tuna from Villa Vis! You will definitely want to rent a car to explore the island. This apartment is near Jan Thiel with lots of shopping and amenities. The apartment is very clean and has everything you will need. There are three mini-split air conditioners that work well. Like most places, you have an energy allotment and will have to pay extra if you go over. We ran the master bedroom AC unit at 22 degrees for approximately 10 hours a day and were under the usage limit. Running both bedrooms all night would put you over the limit, but we didn’t use the bedroom with the twin beds (we were on our honeymoon!). This is a great value and much better than a large resort with rooms far from the beach. I would definitely stay here again and am recommending this VRBO to my friends and colleagues. "

Fantastic luxurious villa with the most amazing panoramic view!

Fabulous Stay!

"This was our first time to Curacao so we weren't sure what to expect. We loved the house and its elevation. It had beautiful views, and the main floor where we spent all of our time had a wonderful cross breeze which kept us cool as well as keeping the mosquitoes at bay. The 5 bedrooms were nice but we were worried about using too much electricity so we kept the air off in the rooms during the daytime and spent all of our time on the top floor where the kitchen, outdoor dining area and pool were. The patio furniture was plentiful and comfortable. The location was great, close to Jan Thiel beach and the marina. We would recommend a car because there are so many beautiful beaches to visit that are 45 mins - 1 hour away. Also there are many yummy restaurants in Willemstad which is around 15-25 mins away. And we didn't see a lot of taxis. If we come back to Curacao we would def stay here again."
