"The property seemed very new and was very clean and spacious. We did have a room with a terrace but being December and in the middle of a storm we didnt get to use it but I'd imagine it would be lovely on a nice warm evening. It is overlooked by high rise buildings so not private. We felt very welcome on arrival and were shown how to use the facilities. The rooms are above a restaurant which even though they had a party that evening we didn't hear much noise and very local to the main streets...

"Very nice and unique accommodation. Very comfortable. Elena and staff very friendly and helpful. Superb restaurant extremely well decorated and wonderful food. Meal was reasonably priced. Great Italian breakfast. Beautiful surroundings. Mountain town of Scarlino very interesting with fortress on top. Lots of history. Didn't use pool as we didn't stay long enough and it was October."

Un pò disagevole (ma non poi tanto!) la presenza di doccia e lavandino in camera e le scale senza ascensore per i bagagli, ma per il resto silenzio, pulizia ma soprattutto gentilezza al top. "Il B&B é in buone condizioni e molto pulito. Si trova in centro e a 2 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia libera e dai lidi attrezzati. I proprietari sono molto disponibili e cortesi. Noi avevamo la colazione inclusa che viene fatta in un bar a 100 metri dalla struttura. Consigliato"

"The hotel is situated in a rural location, although there are factories there to. We were very kindly given a room upgrade which was very nice as we stayed with them last year. The room was spacious, well equipped, very comfortable bed and included a kitchen which was very nice to have the use of. All staff were very friendly, helpful and we made as much effort to speak a little Italian, to which I am sure they appreciated. A good location to stay. "Cleaniness below average. Not enough sunbeds by the pool. Food was good. Restaurant/bar/animation staff very kind and prepared, reception/housekeeping very moody and dismissive. "

"Die Wohnung liegt ruhig im schönen Dorf Chiusdino, das Meer ist ca. 1 Stunde entfernt, aber der Pool eignet sich gut zum Baden. Es ist genug Platz für 4 Personen. Der Vermiter Paolo ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation war super. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Our stay was off season so staff was light. What staff was there did excellent job and incredibly friendly and helpful. Property was very clean except light over stove. It’s close to the beach so floors get dusty quick. It was perfect for our pets. Beds are only OK. The pillows wonderful. Had to have maintenance up 3 times to fix flusher on toilet, fixed by 2nd day for rest of stay. Small water heater means rinse, turn off water, shampoo/soap, turn on water to rinse. I’m sure ok for summer months, but during winter it’s cold. Recycling required but only 1 small trash bag per kitchen and bath provided. Encourage facility to provide the means for recycling. Within walking distance to beach, store, and restaurants. Only complaint is we managed to book our stay during the biggest party in Italy. Went on for 3 nights with no intervention from management or security. No sleep for 3 nights due to parties lasting until 4:30 / 5:00 am. Really made it tough for us to get going during the day after no sleep. For the money it is a good place. "
