"Nice inexpensive option in Edinburgh. Has some nice coffee shops and a pub within a block. The park across road is also nice get to meet lots of dogs over there. "

"A little gem of a find. About 200 yards from the tram stop. Last minute booking due to train delays when we had to change our plans. The check in was great. Fridge in the room had been stocked with iron bru, water, milk, and breakfadt cakes. Lovely staff. Would certainly use this venue again."

"Warm and friendly hostess Julie is definitely in the right business. The guest house was immaculate and her cooked breakfast was immensely tasty and hearty. The room was cosy and quiet. Short walk to the shops and eateries in Leven. Recommended. "

"Perfect location for Fringe but ridiculously expensive at this time. 4 foot bed is cosy for two adults."

"The spindrift guest house is excellent you get met at the door by the hosts Mark and Jeni, who make you feel so welcome like your part of the family. They show you around the breakfast room and the lounge . The rooms are big and comfy thw whole place is spotless. Breakfast is amazing and you pick what you want from a changing menu daily which is finished off with homade loaf from Jeni we had banana loaf this morning which was still warm. "Tom and Rowena are gorgeous hosts in this beautiful place in Leith. The breakfast options are aplenty, on top of a good small buffet of fruit, yoghurt and cold cuts. Our room was comfortable, clean and homely. The only downside was the bathroom and toilet were kinda tiny so just take it into account if you need more space. Would definitely stay again 10/10 recommend this to others - as it's within 3 minutes' walk of at least 3 different bus routes."
