"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"The condo was well appointed situated in the center of deep creeks activities and destinations. The will o the wisp property is showing it's age and in need of renovations but that did not detract from the unit or our stay at the condo."

"Spiral staircase not for seniors. Difficult to come down spiral staircase at night to use bathroom. had to leave lights on downstairs to find way to bathroom at night as furniture on lower level placed too close to staircase to avoid possible hitting head when walking by or near staircase. Hallways narrow, hot and dark. Entry with code difficult at night and too many digits to enter in dark hallways without using phone flashlight. WiFi reception terrible. "My wife and I normally spend our Memorial Day at Deep Creek. Our favorite rental was no longer available so we skipped a year. We decided to try Will o’ Wisp this year and oh where we pleasantly rewarded. Right on the lake, centrally located, my wife immediately said we have to come back next year. We don’t have our boat anymore, but brought along a Sea-Doo, which was conveniently parked just in front of our suite at the dock. I fished and toured the lake.
