"This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. There are lots of walks around the house, and it is completely peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including pheasants, Red Squirrels and hundreds of birds. We also saw the odd deer and a couple of sheep (although the owner encouraged the latter to return to their field!). The house is...

"We had a great stay, the property is well stocked with everything you should need, nice to have an enclosed garden for our kids and dog to play in. Location is great too with walks straight out of the door, plus well stocked village shop and fantastic restaurant just down the road. "

"Our property was close to Aviemore town but on a pretty, quiet little estate.It had everything we needed for our walking holiday in Scotland. I was most impressed with the brilliant shower and the house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Excellent communication throughout and I would recommend without hesitation. Really enjoyed our visit..with spectacular scenery, fabulous Whisky distilleries, abundant wildlife and interesting history. Thank you."

"We had a rather large group (10) and everyone was comfortable. The ground-floor suite was especially nice for my elderly father, as the stairs were challenging for him. The place is a nice mix of rustic (I've never seen a wood-burning hot tub before) and modern (great kitchen!). We had a couple of dumb questions, like how to control the electric for the upstairs shower, which the host was friendly about and responsive to via WhatsApp. All-in-all, a great vacation home!"
