"Property is nice, quiet and clean! The staff were kind and polite! Only 2 issues- (1) my room had no AC for the entire time that I spent at the resort, that was very frustrating! (2) Food could’ve been a little better. Despite those two issues, I enjoyed my stay!"

"We have have stayed at the The Villas at Simpson Bay Resort a handful of times and it is the only place we will stay at when we visit St Maarten. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. We ate at every restaurant they offered, and we were not disappointed. We took advantage of the little store there as well. Cant wait to visit again. "

"This was my first time out of the country. My birthday trip was amazing. It was a great experience for me being only 26. Everyone was welcoming all the way down to the other guest. It was mostly an older crowd but I did not mind they were still a VIBE. My room was the beach front room. The other rooms are a little more updated but no complaints here. The taxi services are very helpful. Try to explore the island like my cousin and I did. The food was amazing and I really enjoyed the pool side...

"Great property for cleanliness and well looked after grounds. Close to a market, restaurants and a few stores. Only issue is rooms are dated and lack spare outlets. Need a bit of updating. I’d still return though as the positives outweigh the negatives. St Maarten is a wonderful island for a vacation. People are friendly and I never felt unsafe at all. "

"We stayed in Cul-de-sac in July of this year and had a great time exploring the hidden beaches all around the island. We were given directions to find the house- thank goodness because google maps did not load the whole week- that was tucked away and a grocery store was a few minutes drive (be prepared to use Google translate as most labels are in French). "We had a fantastic stay at Sonesta Ocean Point. The property was gorgeous and the food was all delicious and there was plenty to do. And the staff was very kind and attentive, always asking if there was anything we needed. If I were ever to return to St. Martin, I would definitely stay there again. The only 2 issues were not having any hot water one of the days and there were some tiny ants on the floor of our room, not hundreds but maybe a couple dozen real small ones. I just assumed that was part of the environment that you can't really get rid of in the tropics."
