"this was our 3rd time visiting & we are still going to come back again. its an old building with en suite bedrooms. rooms are comfortable, location is right on the harbourside. food is very good & breakfast is very good too. staff are out of this world. I wouldn't recommend for people with walking disabilities or are in a wheelchair. dogs are welcomed at this property. Laura & Kennedy are the names of 2 of the staff I can remember at the moment but the others are very good too. "

"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff are amazing. The food was amazing. The facilities were amazing and it is in a stunning location. Not for everyone though as it is very quiet. At least it is in December. We hope to return one day. "

"The staff at Portreath Arms were welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. My only complaint is that the bacon was overcooked, but otherwise the breakfast was lovely."

"Staff were polite and helpful. Room was very dated and very small, but clean and comfortable. However the loud music coming from the bar below our room went on until 11 pm so if you want a quiet restful place to stay DO NOT CONSIDER this location."

"The beauty and quiet with surrounding scenery and garden. Definately would rent a car if returned, visiting from overseas public tranport and taxis a little challenging "

"Lovely stay. Friendly staff. Perfect location to explore Mevagissey. We enjoyed the pub, the food, and hearing the gulls outside the window. Felt like travelers from an adventure story staying at the Ship Inn."

"The Bugle Inn is the oldest building in the area. We had our evening meal in the bar, the food was lovely, good portions size, nicely presented. We had a good night's sleep, the beds were comfy, the shower was hot. We did find a cobweb. Breakfast was a full cornish and was lovely. "

"Position great facilities good owners and staff very good and helpful. The food was wonderful. Able to show flexibility at short notice. Would have no hesitation in recommending the inn. We will happily stay again."

"Great find, extensive car park, very comfortable room with everything you need and a lovely touch was a decanter with a little sherry in for a pre dinner tipple. Food was good with an extensive menu and friendly helpful staff. All in all a great 2 night stay in this lovely hotel. Ideally situated for Eden project visit, would definitely recommend."

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
