"Great stay. Able to do a trip to white fish point, upper, and lower falls. Would never know the owner is there. Very peaceful and quiet. If you are ok with eating out the whole trip and being in a basically desolate town, I would definitely suggest going in the winter after they are done getting snow storms. "

"Even as Wisconsinites, we were surprised by how much snow was still on the ground in late March. The lake was still frozen and the beach covered in snow. But the house was cozy and well supplied. The beds were probably the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a rental. It was clean and had plenty of space for the 4 of us. When it snowed for 2 days, we spent time putting together puzzles, playing board games and using the fooseball, shuffleboard and arcade games at the rental. Cooking was easy with everything provided, but be prepared to drive an hour for groceries. Most stores are still closed for the season, which we expected, but we did find some shops open in Sault Ste Marie. When the sun came out a few days into our trip, we visited the Tahquamenon State park and the upper and lower waterfalls. There was still quite a bit of snow on the trails, and feet of it near some of the observation areas. It was still a beautiful sight, though! Just beware that in the "off season" the lower falls road is closed off to cars and not maintained. It is open to foot traffic, but it is a mile walk to those trails. The snow melted a bit more a few days in and we were able to visit the beach and see the most beautiful night sky I have ever witnessed. We weren't able to see the aurora borealis, but others might have more luck! Overall, we had a pleasant stay, even with a few hiccups with checking in and the snowy drive. The owners were very responsive. We would definitely stay again!"

" This house was super clean ans a perfect stay for our group of 6 adults. Close to snowmobile trails for us to easily access and gas station/bars only about a mile away. We had a minor run in with the kitchen sink not working but the host had someone out right away to fix the issue. We would definitely stay here again. :)"

"Had a great experience staying here. It was very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen and rest of the house was supplied well. Had 8 of us sleeping comfortably in all of the beds. Very spacious and not crowded whats so ever. Great “mud room” that was heated, very large, had boot warmers, hooks and shelves for all of our snowmobile gear. Fit (2) 27ft trailers in main drive plus 1 trailer in the south drive that was previously plowed out for us. Lost power the first night during negative temps, I ran to the gas station in paradise and got some wood/supplies then fired up the wood stove inside of the living room. It made for a cozy feel and in the mean time the owner was Johnny in the spot with getting a ‘whole house generator’ installed to make sure we had power by the time we got back from snowmobiling that day. Very impressed with this place and will be staying again. "
