It had a terrible mildew/sulfur smell that hit you as soon as you walked in the door. There were paper towels to wipe your hands in the bathroom but no trash cans. "My stay at the Sorrel House was nothing short of wonderful. I hosted a Friendsgiving with 13 people total and everyone raved about the house and how beautiful it was. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving ware, and some basic spices. For a large party I would recommend bringing some of your own items as this is not stocked for the scale of catering, but was perfect to make the few dishes we couldn’t prepare ahead of time. "A lovely home in a quaint neighborhood, walking distance to our daughter's house. Always a pleasure to stay here!"

"I rented this place to assist my son after his total hip surgery. The location was great. All rooms were on the first floor. My daughter-in-law, her two kids(teenagers) and their dog came for Thanksgiving dinner. The only complaint was the dishwasher was broken, so we had to wash everything by hand! "

"We were in town for a conference and wanted somewhere to stay that wasn’t a hotel. This house looks tiny from the outside but it super spacious on the inside! Lots of room to hang out and chill, cute backyard, bathrooms were huge too. A tv in the primary bedroom. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and the host was very responsive to our issues (just a fridge that was beeping at us :) "

"We stay at this property every year. We chose it initially because of the location. Close to our daughter and downtown Cary. We continue to come because of that, but also because the property is well kept up and clean. Its perfect for us. Big enough for us to have our daughter and her girls in for breakfast, and just right for my husband and me to be alone."
