"Absolutely loved our stay at Somerville hotel, everything was just perfect when we arrived, the bed was incredible it was so so so comfy, and the breakfast was delicious!!! The hosts were really lovely and welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble. We had a fab locally sourced mini bar in our room and down in the dining room that was very reasonably priced and fresh milk for the room for tea and coffee What a great touch way better the uht pots you usually get elsewhere If you want to stay in or around Hereford then a stay here is a must! We will definitely be back."

"I had a superior room and I was very pleased. The room was massive, the bed was comfy and the bath was lovely too. I had a Sunday roast in the restaurant too and that was delicious. Breakfast was great too. I felt very relaxed and wish I could have stayed for longer! "

"This is the third year we have stayed to celebrate an AGM. Frankly we were very disorganised re. Numbers. But the Pilgrim were amazing accommodating 40/45 people all very last minute, the food was totally amazing bearing in mind there were so many different variables for a three course meal coming of their table D’hote menu. All delivered in flustered and with smiles on faces. The kitchen staff must have been frantic but boy did they deliver. Thank you again and see you all on December 1st 2025. "

"Well laid out for disabled access, no problem parking/unloading. Times require changing in the in the information books, states breakfast served till 10 am when they actually close at 9:30 am. But apart from this a enjoyable stay."

"Easy check in via the oldie wordie pub. Room clean & nice dark curtains so nice n dark. Comfy bed .shower could maybe use an update but clean. Door a little low so if you're over 5 7 tall watch out lols. "

"Beautiful historic building, great room and bed, (creaky floors!). Excellent breakfast. Only complaint is on arrival the reception was unmanned and cafe staff completely blanked us when we asked for help. Other staff were excellent."
