"My husband and I were looking for a vacation away from everything and when we saw this property, we thought it fit the bill. It was a very scenic ride on the way there and once we reached Vermont we just took it all in, all the beautiful sights of nature at its best. Once we arrived at the house, it was just as described. We enjoyed the tranquility and the beauty of the location."

"The property is located in a beautiful area with an amazing view. The property owner was very responsive. That said, the blinds could use updating (which is the plan per property owner) and I wish the bathrooms were a little bigger but overall a great stay!"

"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. "This is the second year in a row that we've stayed at Steve's place (and we plan to stay again next year!). The house is super cozy, you feel right at home when you walk in. We loved having access to the hot tub, it came in handy after two long days of skiing (great location for all of the ski bums out there). Even with a large group, everyone was able to spread out and have their own space. We absolutely love it here!"

"We really enjoyed our time at the house. We were two familles of three with a dog and everybody was comfortable. The house is spacious, cozy, clean and has a big garden for kids(and dogs) to run about. It is well equipped. We also appreciated the jacuzzi after our days on the slopes and the discount tickets Asia had kindly left for us to use at the resort (ski and Pumphouse). We recommend for a group of 6 to 8 people."

We took our two kids up to VT to see Ben & Jerrys & Cabot, which we did, but each time we left we could not wait to get back to the house! You literally can get lost in this house. My family's favorite part was the movie theater. I could not figure out how to get the lights in the wine cellar to work, but we just went in to check it out so it made no difference to us. "Beautiful, peaceful property on pond, quiet and clean! Art in the home is fun and eclectic. We are so Thankful this property allows dogs without a weight restriction. This helped us include our dogs without the worry of leaving the dogs at an expensive dog boarding place. We had so much fun hiking, running and walks, with strolls around local attractions and leaf peeping; all with the dogs ! Cabot is a nice town and the property is located within 1-2 hours of major attractions such as Montpelier...

"We chose this location as it was reasonably priced and could accommodate our families needs. The area down stairs was perfect for those with younger children. The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice to sit together. There is a thermostat on each floor - but heat rises and created a sauna upstairs. We only used the gas fire, nice to look at and a great heat source. I would recommend this property to others, we really enjoyed it."
