"Danny was a perfect host. We had a wonderful stay at his place and felt cozy and comfortable during our stay. His dogs were friendly and enjoyed playtime with our pups. We will absolutely look to stay with Danny again when we go back to Jay Peak. His place is perfect for couples, small groups of friends or family and would be great in any season. Super close 3 mile drive to Jay Peak base via the main road. "

"This was a very pleasant stay in a great location within Hardwick. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and the area was incredibly safe. The street traffic can get to be somewhat noisy, but that’s to be expected for the intersection outside, but nothing TV or some music can’t drown out. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the 'cozy ski retreat'. It was the perfect amount of space for 4 people and the location was exactly what we were looking for. We were a little surprised it was right off the main road, but it proved convienent getting places quickly and easily, especially with snow.The furnishings are a little bare bones with quite a bit of empty space but overall comfortable. It would be nice to have a few more dishes and cookware since restaurants close earlier than we expected.Sandy...

"The hosts did a great job of informing us about the stay and kept in touch during it to make sure all was well and offer suggestions if needed. The property was larger than we expected and very livable. The only ’ding’ I might mention is that there is not really a kitchen if you expect one in an apartment. We did not need one as the microwave, coffee maker and kettle provided in a breakfast space were all we needed. We felt welcome and would definitely stay again. "

"We stayed in this cozy apartment for a ski trip to Jay Peak. It was perfect for our needs. Great location convenient to both Jay Peak and the local grocery store and restaurants. Fully provisioned kitchen, very comfortable bedrooms, lots of channels for the kids to pick a movie to watch. There was also plenty of space to spread all our gear out after skiing for the day so it could dry by the morning. We're very happy with the accommodations and would highly recommend to anyone."

"My wife and I enjoyed seven nights at this property. We used it as a 'hub' to 'spoke' out to Lake Willoughby, Jay Peak, Burlington, Stowe, and Waterbury. Pre-arrival coordination was excellent. The property is true to photos and description - a one-bedroom apartment above a garage. We used the hot tub twice. We didn't use the gas grill located adjacent to the hot tub. Roku TV was more than adequate for the small amount of time spent at the property. The kitchen had ample dishes/pans/etc...

"The suite was just what we needed; quiet, comfortable and cozy. It has all the amenities of home, so we felt very much at home. Gwen and Larry were consistently responsive and warmly attentive.
