"Disappointing. The bathroom fittings needed some attention. Sink basin stopper did not work. Toilet seat loose. Light switch chain broken. Light bulb out and a hole in one of the hand towels. The hotel Wi-Fi did not work in our room. Our mobile phones registered ‘no service’ in our room. No white sugar or decaf coffee supplied to our room. Overall staff were very friendly and polite. "

"the room was not warm enough and although mentioned to the staff, it was some time before the heating was sufficient. The tea maker was in a cupboard on the floor. This is the first time I have encountered this in a hotel, This was not easy to make the first cup of tea in the morning. Having mentioned these two points, the staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. "This hotel was fabulous. A lovely room with a fantastic view. Nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors. A lovely breakfast to start the day. We were lucky that when we got back to the hotel after our friends daughters wedding reception we were treated to live folk music in a well stocked bar. A lovely relaxing end to a delightful day"

"Very nice hotel, really friendly staff. Wasn’t sure about the 100% vegan but we didn’t need to eat there. However we did eat in the restaurant as it was so nice, so all in all very enjoyable "
