"Beautiful "

"My stay at this property was wonderful! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the property itself is beautiful. While the rooms have a slightly outdated brown interior, they are still very cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. There was one issue regarding the premium liquor included in my package. The hotel’s website advertised brands such as Patrón and Don Julio, which influenced my decision to book. However, when I attempted to order these at the bar on my first day, I was informed that they were not included. After seeking clarification from the front desk the following day, I was told that premium liquor was indeed part of the package. Despite this, the bar staff continued to deny my request. It was only after speaking with the bar manager and showing the website’s advertisement that the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, the bar staff seemed reluctant to provide premium liquor for the remainder of my stay. Aside from this, my trip was excellent. The hotel’s location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. Additionally, they offer a convenient store where guests can use a credit card to receive cash back in either USD or Honduran currency. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would recommend this hotel."

"Puerta Azul is a quaint boutique style hotel with private little cabins. They have a nice restaurant and provide breakfast every morning. Everyone who works there is super nice and friendly. Location is quiet and away from the crowds of the West End. If you want to go anywhere, they provide transportation. The best part was snorkeling right off the dock. The reef was full of coral and fish. They also had free paddle boards and kayaks and you can rent snorkel equipment for $10 for the whole week. I will be back!"

"This was our second stay. Both times were wonderful. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We tried several things on the menu at the restaurant during our two week stay and found that everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and looks as good as it tastes. The restaurant staff filled our insulated cups and ice bag with ice every day. The cleaning staff have the place shining. It always smells clean in the common areas. The front desk staff were also great helping us get whatever we needed (taxis, extra towels). The owners are on site daily, talking with guests, and working to make your stay the best possible. We loved spending time on the balcony or at the pool/spa area where it feels like you have the whole place to yourself. The beach, restaurants, shops, and even West End are all within walking distance. We want to especially thank Omar, Kenneth, Eduardo, Elliot, Amy, and Sue (not her full name but she is at front desk). Although we didn’t get names of cooks or cleaning staff, we also thank them. I dive and the dive shop, divemasters, and boat captains can’t be beat!"

"Friendly happy wait staff serving the included breakfast. Wonderful to have access to pools and beach towels and chairs at neighbouring resort. Convenience store right outside the door. Super friendly. Close to all amenities."
