I was not really expecting much as the cost was very reasonable but was impressed. The staff were really good and very pleasant. "OMG what a gem! I almost don’t want to share an opinion on the Villa Rothsay because I want to keep it for myself. Absolutely perfect in every way. But quirky and mysterious with amazing history. Our room was beautiful with seaview. We slept with the curtains open so as not to miss any waking moment. Margaret was welcoming and so knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious. "We had a fantastic stay at the Woodvale. The food was excellent and despite it being a very busy time (just a few days before Christmas so lots of big parties) we didn't wait too long for our meals.
