"My husband and I stayed at this lovely property with our dog for a quick ski trip to Monarch over new years. The property was the perfect size, perfect location and is managed by amazing hosts. We noticed a slight cleaning issue and when brought up the host, Bill, was great to work with and assured the issue was taken care of. The property is in a great location, a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to downtown. We would highly recommend it! "

"This was a beautiful property-- well-appointed and comfortable. We came for the solitude. A lot we could have done but we dod a lot of walking, reading, talking and game playing ad well as visits with nearby family. The fantastic Sangre de Christo mountains are stunning at all hours of the day or night. Amazing stars, snow and wildlife -- deer and elk. The cabin kept us cozy even as temperatures were at ir below freezing for days. Thank you for a great stsy."

"We had a great time at the property. The stars are amazing and you can enjoy them from the hot tub which we did nightly. 20 min drive up to Monarch and a short drive into Salida. Deer greet you each morning. We would definitely stay again. "

"This cabin has a beautiful view and the beds were comfortable. The immediate driveway needs to be addressed a bit with (deep washed out areas) but it’s ok with an SUV. I really liked that they had comfortable seating outside with cushions to enjoy the view. There was plenty of stocked dishes to cook with. "This was the best VRBO experience me and my family have had. The cabin was well-appointed in the kitchen and had above and beyond the typical kind and amount of toiletries so once you had your groceries you could really stay in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!
