"One night stay before catching the Ceuta ferry. What a fantastic classic hotel, I was overwhelmed by the grand old building and the lovely interiors. Fire lit in the fireplace and a library ! Yes a library stocked with many books! Perhaps a little tired but packed with real charm, I really really enjoyed my stay here and will return. "

"We stayed here back in July and loved it, so this was a return visit. First night wasn't so good. The hotel had shut down the air conditioning for the winter season. We were given a top floor room with a balcony. Even with the patio door open all night, the room didn't cool and stayed at 23 Deg C. Way too warm for us to sleep, plus the outside noise too. "The suite was ample but although we were 4 and had to wait for the check in time to have the room ready, the second bed was not even done yet. Everything else other than that detail was good, easy location and a lot of green around. Good location if you are visiting Gibraltar"
