"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. "We enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and comfortable and being in the countryside was very quiet but still close to porto covo and vn milfontes. The garden is not as per the photos as there is no view and it has not been looked after at all but it was fine for us with our dog as she loved it.so we would return there. "The villa surpassed all expectations and photos do not do justice to the beautiful interiors. Easily accommodated two families of 4. A 15/20 minute walk into Sao Luis - authentic Portuguese town with lovely atmosphere, great cafe and restaurant and daily fish and vegetable market. Would definitely return and highly recommend."
