"Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations. "Such a lovely property nestled at the end of a quiet road with beautiful open views of the surrounding nature. Immediately relaxing and every step of our holiday was effortless due to all the care and little touches Soraya and Richard have thought about. The pool was glorious and I don’t think our boys are going to be fans of now having to spend most of their time on dry land again. Saleema is close by and a really understated but beautiful beach and village - well worth it! "

"Really enjoyed our week's stay. Fantastic property, clean very well appointed and the host was very kind in leaving us some items for arrival. Comporta area was very quiet which for us was perfect, no need for reservations at restaurants even at the weekend. Due to the off season it meant driving out to dinner to Comporta of other places which were all within 10 minutes."

"The view and the upper floor are nice and were handed over in a clean state. Street parking is available infront of the property. However on the 5th day of our stay, we got a realy nasty surprise. After it had rained a bit during the night, the sewage started pressing up through the showers and toilets on the ground floor. This meant that a horrendous odor was spreading throughout the house. This was the state of things for the remainder of our stay. After some research on the sewage treatment...

"Such a charming property in a beautiful, unspoiled region. We loved being in the countryside just outside Melides. Great pool and outside space with fantastic beaches and resturants nearby. Host was super attentive and gave us excellent local tips. Highly recommend!"

"We hebben een paar fijne dagen gehad in Villa Aljezur. Hele rustige buurt, mooi huis, fijne douche in de kleinste badkamer. Goed uitgeruste keuken. De ligstoelen buiten zijn allemaal erg slecht en geplakt met tape, gemeld bij de rental valley. Matras vonden we te hard ( op te lossen met een topper)"

"Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun."
