The hotel was warm , welcoming and authentic , offering great value for money , good food and wonderful staff .. highly recommend .. really well situated for our visit to Longleat the following day … great dining experience as well and breakfast was 1st class "

"The is a lovely little in, ideal for a short stop-over. The staff in the pub were extremely welcoming, it has a great atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. The only down side is, the room I stayed in is next to a commercial site which has bright spotlights, this means that even with the curtains closed the room wasn't overly dark. Also the bed wasn't that comfortable, so I didn't sleep very well. Overall a pleasant stay, and possibly somewhere I would consider for a future stay."

"It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! Although we didn’t meet any staff communication was very clear via emails and website. Thoroughly recommend 👍 "
