Make sure to kayak the canals and walk to the sunset beach in the little neighborhood to the west. Tom, the host was super helpful and did a great job in building the water home. "It was awful. We didn't stay, I honestly felt like my kids and I were going to be trafficked. They were an hour late, unapologetic, told me they had 4 last minute bookings, so why did they get priority over us who booked well in advance. A strange guy asked to motor us out to a different boat but said he'd have to clean linens first. They weren't going to leave a boat for us. It was pitch black. They didn't have my parking pass and didnt even know where I should park. "

"The property advertised the listing as a working sail boat you could stay on. Working meaning power. The amenities listed air conditioning, a bathroom, a kitchenette, etc. With those things, we thought there would be some sort of electricity. The listing also told me to call 48 hours in advance of the arrival date to get check in instructions. I was not able to reach anyone until a few hours before arrival.
