Only one comment to make and that is I wish there had been a stool to climb up onto the bed, and an obvious welcome sheet as we only found that on our last evening. Like the trays were in the cupboard and how to work the hob. Other than that couldn’t fault it. "

The charming little container had everything we needed in terms of essentials for our two-night stay, as well as several little special touches that made the whole thing feel really personal. You can tell the hosts really care about the comfort of their guests! The cleanliness was 10/10 too. Amanda made sure to make us feel welcome and even let us extend our check out time so...

"Lovely setting, very quiet although no one else was staying in the other 3 lodges when we stayed. Loved watching the boats going past whilst sat on the veranda. Frequently visited by ducks and a heron. Village had everything you needed and the bakery at the marina was great for coffee and pastries. Lodge clean and today with everything you needed for stay."
