"Everything from the booking, communication with the owner, responses to questions, checking in and stay was really good and went with no issues. Property was clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. There were beach chairs and towels available. House was very clean and pleasant to stay in. We were there with two teens and had more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable. Place would easily fit two more teens if kids ever wanted to bring their friends next time. Location was ideal and as advertised, super close to the beach but still at the distance so when it was too windy to spend time at the beach we just stayed in the backyard. Host was very responsive to my questions. We would not hesitate to visit again. "

"This house has a great location. Close to the beach, plenty of room. But it was extremely dirty. To start with the kitchen cabinets had food spills all over them, fronts of appliances were full of fingerprints, windows dirty, locks on some sliders didn’t work, rugs are old and dirty, lights that don’t work. I thought I had gotten a cold while we were there to the point where I left a day early only to discover that the filters on the AC had not been changed in probably years. Full of dust and mold. Stay away from this place. "

"We had an incredible time at Harmankaya! The modern interiors were charming, and the home was beautifully maintained with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The great room was absolutely stunning, and we loved spending time on the gorgeous wrap-around decks with views of the pool and the basketball and volleyball games. The kids had an amazing time stargazing right outside the dining room and kitchen. We also enjoyed the short walk to Whalehead Beach and those relaxing evenings in the hot tub. We definitely recommend it for families or groups looking for a memorable getaway!"

"My family of 12 adults stayed to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary and we could not have picked a better home in the most perfect location in the Outer Banks. We had plenty of room for our 3-night stay. The house was a short walk to the beach and various stores and restaurants just a short drive away. "

"A little about us. We are a family of six. Two adults, two teenagers and twin 19 month old babies. so, here are the good things about this property… it is close to the beach. Aaso close to the community pool. The size and quantity of the decks are nice. The hot tub is great. The air conditioning was great and my bed was comfortable. The number of rooms were just what we were looking for and it was nice to have the outdoor shower. Plenty of parking. And the neighborhood was very quiet and close to a grocery store and some really great restaurants. now for the bad. The house was quite dirty and dated. There were dead and dying bugs all over the place. There were spiders, ants, flies, and they were all in various states of life. I found numerous dead spiders throughout. And my teenagers had an issue with live spiders in their room and bathroom. Throughout the week my teenager said that they killed an upwards of 7 to 10 spiders. So if you have arachnophobia, I definitely do not recommend this house. Additionally, on the first night that we were there, I was pouring a cup of water, and it spilled a bit and as the water was dripping down the cabinet, it was turning brown as it landed on the floor. There were cobwebs all over the house. All of the AC vents had black stuff on them… I don’t know if it was mold it could’ve just been dust that mixed with condensation, but it wasn't good to see. All in all, I would say that this place really needs a deep clean and some updates. "

"The house was perfect for my extended family--plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Large area with multiple sofas for everyone to relax in the evenings in front of the TV. We appreciated all of the streaming channels available. The walkway to the beach was perfect for ease of children walking back and forth to the beach. "
