"Stayed overnight with a friend for a concert at Birmingham NEC, very reasonable price, clean and cosy. Friendly owner who lives in a separate house at the bottom of the property. Cooked breakfast available and a coffee machine that does a pretty good hot chocolate. Only slight downside is if you are a light sleeper it's close to a train track and the airport, but personally this didn't bother me."

"We needed somewhere close to relatives as were attending a family funeral, and this lovely little B and B was perfect. The owners were absolutely wonderful, and allowed us to turn up early, use their facilities to get ready, offered us tea/coffee and even something to eat. This is proper good old fashioned customer service, they couldn't have been more welcoming. They even upgraded my friends room and moved her downstairs as she's old!
