"As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. "Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip."

The grounds, the house and the courtyard cottages are all gorgeous and well kept. Close enough to downtown to enjoy walking to pubs and restaurants, but far enough that you forget you are in the city. The cottage was well kept and well equipped. We would have loved to stay longer. "The property is beautifully situated on the edge of a large forested area and the views were spectacular. The property was in excellent shape, as described and we had an excellent stay! Be prepared for bit of a drive from town but well worth it - we would stay here again!"
