"Couldn’t be happier with our choice of hotel room. We didn’t arrive until about 1930hrs, but was greeted by a lovely lady on reception, who asked if we wanted to eat that evening (which we didn’t) & if we needed breakfast (which we didn’t). We paid our £10 as we had been successful in an upgrade request online earlier in the day &, boy, was it worth it. A stunning view from our room (107) of the garden & golf course. The room was very clean, comfortable & quiet. I have to be honest, we didn’t eat here as we couldn’t afford the extra on top, so we provided our own food. Would definitely stay here again. Our daughter is at Bath university, so we probably will! "

"Lovley hotel! Definitley recommend and would stay again. Rooms were cosy and comfy bed. Outside my room was a little creeky on the floor when people walked by, but didnt wake me in the night. Hot breakfast choice was delicious and dinner choices were good too. Selcuded, so nice and quiet around the area"

"Check in at about 8pm very welcoming, went to our room then decided to go down to the bar for a drink which was very pleasant, left early due to a flight but altogether a lovely stay! "

"Good welcome, nice room,lovely pool. Lovely large bed, but sadly very small sheets that didnt even cover the mattress- surely thats basic? Very disappointed at what was very sloppy housekeeping. "

"When booking other hotel stays for 5 of us, we have had to book two separate rooms. Not at Holiday Inn Express Taunton. We had one room for all five of us which was exceptionally sized and we all had plenty of space within the room. It is a budget hotel and the price should reflect expectations, however, we were immensely impressed with our stay, boosted even more so with breakfast being included. We will consider staying again if we are ever in the area again!"
