"The property was beautiful and overall we enjoyed our stay! The pool and the available excursions made it very enjoyable. Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. Instead we got a “pizza party” this was fine except the cost was not presented to us prior. The pool was also closed early due to a wedding. "A relaxing place to stay! The grounds were beautiful and staff was great. I would say that having a car is important if you plan on using this as your home base to explore Tuscany. Breakfast was wonderful and the fact that this is adults only makes the property feel more tranquil than it would be otherwise."

"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."

"This is the most amazing experience. We spent 5 days here. It is a little family run Agriturismo that is exactly what it states. No frills, but living as an Italian farming family would. Lovely pool on site which was a great bonus. The meals are fantastic, home cooked and very affordable. We will definitely rerun with our family for another stay! LOVED IT!!"

"My mum and I did a girls trip here and we LOVED our stay! Just the kind of quite wind-down that we needed after the hustle and bustle of Venice and Florence. This hotel is GORGEOUS!! The food at the restraurant was superb and the pool divine on the hot Tuscan days! Easy to get to and a quick 30mins from Florence made it a wonderful choice. We both can't wait to be back!!
