Wonderful Lake House

"My group of 7 had a wonderful time during our stay. The booking and check-in were seamless. We enjoyed the fire pit, fished off the dock, used the kayaks and paddle boat, played pooled, shot darts and cooked in both kitchens. The property was clean, well manicured, spacious and offered so many amenities that we were not able to take advantage of in our short 3 days there. We did have the opportunity to meet a few of the neighbors during our stay and all were friendly, especially the ones directly next door. This was my second time staying on Lake Gaston and I’m looking forward to a third. Edie’s (our host) communication was excellent throughout the entire process and much appreciated. I do recommend this property to anyone who wants a great value and comfortable stay. "

To Celebrate My Retirement

"Everything was perfect. We worked with the owner of the property through VRBO and it was very easy to communicate, ask questions and get answers. We visited twice prior to our reservation date to get a feel for who would sleep where of the 40 folks on our list of invitees. The owner was always very accommodating. The entire experience was so relaxed and stress-free. The pool, the hot tub, the lake. So amazing. Thank you so much Tony and VRBO!"

"This is our second stay here. The staff are fantastic and our only issue is out of the control of the staff. We were reminded of the no smoking policy only to enter a hallway that smelled like cigarettes and an elevator that reeked of marijuana. Upon our return from dinner, air fresher had been sprayed which made it slightly better."
