But the bed is a little too soft, and the bedding well used. The name is not on the outside of the building, so it was a little confusing. They did send a photo of the door with the room access info that hadn't downloaded on my phone. Technically on the fifth floor, but there is an Entresol floor before the first floor - 120 stairs up. "We visit St Paul De Vence yearly and it was a joy to come across this gem. Minimally decorated, and sensitively landscaped with perhaps one of the most well-made pools ever, our stay was enjoyable. "Excellent place to stay. We had a 'self-catering' apartment at La Maison aux Bonsais. The sign on the door says 'Guest House'. The owner Luc (and his son Michael) were very welcoming.
