The staff were quite rude in the dining areas. Lobby lounge and Ami. Felt like we were treated differently because we had booked through Expedia. The room they gave us was right next door to a huge construction site.

Pros: great location, helpful staff, excellent included breakfast, rooftop pool, nicely renovated room, reasonable cost. Cons: Amu rooftop restaurant needs improvement (woefully understaffed, uneven food quality), ugly exterior of hotel, no turndown service, overpriced drinks (12 euro bottle of Corona, really?) Conclusion: not a 5 star hotel, but recommended as a reasonably priced and clean place to stay in Monte Carlo.
