"It was kind of hard to find initially. There is no parking close by, but that is pretty typical for most places in Italy. The owner was friendly and helpful. The stay was nice and clean. "The location of this property is amazing, although a little difficult to find if you're using Google Maps. As its on the opposite side and end of the lane than shown. My host for the stay, Franca, has been lovely and offered some great suggestions of things to see/do on arrival. The rooms themselves are beautifully decorated, however I found the bedding and pillows particularly uncomfortable. Also, the rooms are not soundproof at all, which is understandable given the age of the building....

"A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. We stayed for 10 nights so we had time to enjoy and relax. We thank Filipo and Feredica, who have been so hospitable during our stay. Lots of options for breakfast with the best cappuccino ever. "Nice clean room, en suite, with tea and coffee-making facilities. Only a velux window though, so no views. Bathroom nice enough, if a little cramped. Reasonable breakfast with excellent coffee. Very friendly staff. Convenient for both the train station and the tower."
