"A group of eight of us stayed here for four nights. The place itself is beautiful, set off the road in a stunningly peaceful area, with local goats that pass through adding to the charm. It's so peaceful, and the pool area is perfect with glorious views. Before arriving I had numerous emails with Homerti who manage the property, checking about this and that. I was advised that there would be washing up liquid, soaps, bath towels but not beach towels, questions like this. However, there was no washing up liquid, hardly any toilet roll, very little in the way of cleaning equipment, no dustpan and brush. The wifi never worked, even though someone came to ask about it (5G coverage is good however, so not a major issue fortunately). The hob only had one working burner, the other three would not stay alight. The bed mattresses are ok, but the pillows are very poor quality. No one slept very well. It's a wonderful place and I would go back, and it's a shame to have to point these things out, as they could so easily be sorted. The management and/or owners should make sure the basics are covered. It should also be pointed out that the Google maps route from the airport advises coming off the main road a few kilometres early. Do not do this, you'll end up on a very poor track, when a much closer entrance to the track is possible. The closer entrance is in the property pics, but not made clear enough. It's still a great place, we had a super time all in all."

"Volkmar's place is right in the middle of the historic center of Andratx. If you are looking for an authentic Majorcan village experience ... this is the place! Nestled in a small side street near the main square, the nicely renovated place is making you feel at home right away with its nice mix of old and new. The furniture is comfortable and the house well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really liked the rooftop terrace providing a nice 360 degree view including the Port of Andratx and (a glimpse of) the Mediterrean in the distance. Just a word of warning - smaller is better as driving and parking is an interesting experience in Andratx. Otherwise, we enjoyed the charme of the village with its restaurants as well as its weekly farmers market and found it in a perfect location for excursions into the western half of the island. It was our first time in Majorca and we loved it ... also thanks to the perfect accommodation. Thank you Volkmar for being such a great host! "

"Hotel staff were very friendly. The apartment with one bedroom was excellent. The sea view was amazing. Breakfast was very good. Location was fantastic. A great Aparthotel. We are booking again for next year. "

"The property was in a beautiful location and was charming itself. Unfortunately for us the listing did not indicate that the property has no air conditioning so it was unbearably hot the first two nights we were there (92 degrees). There were thermostats in the property which don't function or if they do, we were not told how to operate these. In addition the shower was not heated, and we had 4 towels to last us the whole week, which was a little frustrating particularly since no fresh towels were offered over the duration of our stay. But notwithstanding we did love the property and the location. "

"Amazing hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. Absolutely magnificent location. cute little town only 2 min walk away with loads of dining options. you will have absolutely no need to leave the area because everything is within walking distance. thats a good thing because there is absolutely no parking. but i didn't care i would definitely stay there again, i loved it!"

"We had a very relaxing stay at Gisela's little guest house. The accommodation is larger than you would believe from the photographs and the little plunge pool is just perfect for sitting in with a glass or two. Gisela was very welcoming despite our lateness due to a delayed flight, kindly changed our towels during our stay when we requested.The drive up to the house is a real challenge the first few times but it certainly shouldnt discourage you if you are a confident driver from staying here. You are definitely in the country side so do expect, mosquitoes (Gisela provides ample pug in devices) wall lizards and plenty of ants. The beach at Saint Elm (15 minutes by car) is beautiful with sand under the shallow water for a long way out, perfect for snorkelling, swimming or simply cooling off. The port at Andrax is great for a evening meal or breakfast. The accommodation has a good sized fridge and freezer if you prefer to self cater but the oven is a small table top one with only one tray for cooking on. Overall a very lovely little place to relax and unwind in. Thank you Gisela for a wonderful stay, we hope to return next year."

"Majorca and the Andratx area are well known to us and never disappoint - an added bonus this trip was the absolutely amazing property we stayed in - Volkmar’s beautiful home was stunning: it had every possible thing you need from comfy beds and bedding to a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities - lots of space for the number of guests both inside and outside - Andratx town has a real Spanish feel, the supermarkets in town have the best fish counters I’ve come across and we loved the local bar no more than 100m - our host couldn’t have been more helpful always on hand when required and a pleasure to meet - this is a gem of a property and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back"
