"What an amazing hotel in a mixed suburban area (which was very safe) . The hotel is a wonderful old building with many interesting artefacts, a museum in effect. The room was clean and spacious with a high ceiling and a modern bathroom. The hotel had a delightful pool area, perfect for relaxing on our final day in Havana, only 20 minutes to the airport. The outside area a beautiful garden and a great set up for a delicious breakfast at only $8 each. There were great roof terraces with amazing panoramic views of the whole city. The hotel were kind enough to allow us to keep our room on until we left later in the evening for our flight, at no extra cost. There was a great restaurant just three blocks away, called...... Which served great food, at a reasonable cost, with nice cold draft beer and excellent views and service. The hosts at the hotel were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would recommend a stay if you fancy a change from the busy city. "
