"Three night stay, two rooms. Great front desk at check in, they provided suggested places to eat, 10% discount at the excellent breakfast/lunch place next door (Awful Annie's, wonderful), chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon, hot and cold breakfast options in the morning (waffles, breakfast sandwiches, cereals, fruit, orange or cranberry juice, coffee, various bread/muffins). Large grassy area for our dog (pet friendly rooms are at one end, so people who prefer to keep their distance can do so). Rates are good also. We were in the back of the motel (well lit parking area) so very little/no street noise. We will stay here again. "

"Loved it! People and amenities are fantastic the included food options for breakfast and happy hour were lovely, great quality locally roasted coffee in the rooms and breakfast area. There's an office cat whose a gem and at least one very calm, cuddley pup that we hung out with-free on-site animal therapy 🙂. Only downside was sound transfer from the adjoining room. Easy to walk into town and nice to have a pool and hot tub onsite."

"My husband and I were looking for a last minute stay and happened upon this gem. This is a cute retro hotel that has been recently updated inside and out. It was clean, had comfortable beds, nice grounds and friendly staff. The prices were good too. The rooms had a microwave, refrigerator and real glassware. And in true 1950’s style you can park right in front of your room. We will definitely stay here again. "

"We had family in town for a memorial and there were multiple large areas for people to play games, talk, and be alone concurrently. Host was easy to communicate with and accommodating. We'll keep this property in mind next time we have family in Colfax. Location about 5-8 minutes off the freeway "
