"Very friendly staff and all the meals had first class ingredients and were swiftly served. The room was spacious with attractive furnishings. Powerful shower and very useful large shelf in the bathroom. Towels dried quickly. There wasn’t a grab rail in the shower which might worry some people. The hotel is only ten minutes walk from the train station, beach and town centre, but is delightfully quiet, day and night. I would definitely like to stay again."

"The hotel is pristine and beautiful. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. However, our room was absolutely freezing. The radiator in room 1 was horrible. During the day when I took a nap before a 4 hour tasting menu, I had to sleep fully clothed with my wool scarf/hat and coat on.
