"Ideal for a family. Lovely views across the valley and great as a base for walking. The site was also good for touring the southern lakes. The lodge was well laid out , warm and cozy. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and had plenty of storage. In better weather the decking area would also be well suited to small children. Would definitely book again."

"Laughing duck lodge was excellent it is well situated on white cross bay site. You are not overlooked and the hot tub was brilliant. We did not take a dog but the lodge is dog friendly would definitely stay there again. Communication with the lodge owners was also very good."
