"Overall our stay was fantastic. The grounds were beautiful. The pools were well maintained and the rooms were very nice. We only had three issues and they were more inconveniences than anything. On our last night we had to park on the complete opposite side of the property and there were only a few spots left. They probably need to add parking for busier weekends..I have no idea where people went once that lot was filled. That same evening we (a long with about a dozen others) were rushed out of their gift shop because they were closing. I understand having a closing time but if people want to spend money there wouldn't it make sense to allow them to? -- especially when it was an extremely busy evening with a wedding going on and the restaurants being packed. We also would've loved to try Jackalopes restaurant as it is labeled as "casual"...but it is incredibly expensive. We drove into Oakhurst each night for dinner. Again, these are inconveniences/annoyances. I would absolutely stay at Tenaya again given the opportunity. "

"On May 17, 2025, we checked in after driving for 9 hours. About 2 hours after we checked in, the front desk called and said that the security saw the interior light of my car was on. I went and found that to be true and turned it off. I was extremely thankful because if my car's battery is dead, we wouldn't make our important school event the next day. I'm sure it took some work and courage to figure out that car is mine and call me about this seemingly trivial issue. I'm grateful for their dedication to their guests. I saw them the next morning but forgot to write down their names. I hope the manager would read this and compliment them for their dedication."
