"We are a group of 8 ladies enjoying a weekend away and we had a wonderful weekend at Downs Cottage. The property was perfect… comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, superb location, sauna was a bonus and the garden was very pretty. Deal itself was a very welcoming town, friendly people. "The yarrow hotel is a lovley hotel decorated to a high standard.The rooms are to a high standard as well. The spa area is a must you are charged 15 pound each to use the spar but it is well worth the price very private area.The staff are extremely good at there job which makes the stay even better good breakfast as well "

"The stay was great, bedding comfortable, breakfast tasty. What was a really nice touch is the person at reception remembering my name. I'm not sure if that's part of the role, or my pink cat hoodie made me difficult to forget. The only negative is that the TV didn't have chromecast built in, so I couldn't watch youtube/netflix/prime/etc "

"The hotel is family run and this is reflected by the staff who were very friendly throughout our 4 night stay. In house carvery and restaurant was good for an excellent meal. Also excellent breakfasts. The hotel is in walking distance from the city centre but there are also regular buses. The property is kept very clean and our room had a huge comfortable bed. The hotel was ideal for our short stay. I would chose to stay there again if I visit the area."
