"Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!"

"We stayed here for almost a week. The property is conveniently located a little over 10 minutes off the highway, in a valley right next to the river. The house was clean, cozy, and we had plenty of room. The back deck overlooks the river and is nice to unwind on at the end of the day. The adjacent General Store had everything we forgot to bring and much more, in case you need a pound of nails, bison burger, a sweatshirt, and a fantastic milkshake. The owners were always responsive to answer...

"Mr. Husson allowed me to check in a couple hrs. early-which he did not have to. The interior was clean and reasonably furnished. Price was reasonable for area. However, advertisement was misleading. Rental is for a floor/flat of a house. Not the whole house. Finished basement was rented to another party (who had a puppy that cried throughout the nights). Also, yard was trashy with litter strewn about."

"This house has a lot of room. Large kitchen supplied with basic necessities. Dinning room table that will fit 6 off the kitchen and eat in table that will fit 5. Very large master bedroom and bath, with a trundle and king size bed. 3 additional bed room with full or queen size beds and a bedroom with twin size bunk beds and a single. Another full bath up stair and a half bath down stair. All bedrooms and full baths are upstairs. Tammy was wondering! Responded quickly and was incredibly kind....

"My husband and I and our kids stayed in Gauley Bridge for two nights while my husband ran a 50 mile race - Highball to Thurmond. Cindy was a wonderful host and the property was perfect for us! The house is off of a main road but that didn’t bother us at all since there is a little access road in the back right on the river. Such beautiful views from the deck, which was brand new. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. Everything was exceptionally clean and the kitchen...

"This Charleston, WV home was lovely. V Located in Khanawa City, just a few blocks from the river. Ten minutes to downtown and the convention center, cute neighborhood to walk the pups. We were visiting our son who is a news producer for WCHS TV. Highly recommended - we would definitely stay her again!"

"This is great house, just a short drive away from downtown. Very well kept for its age and equipped with everything you need for a stay in Charleston. Just note: the second bathroom/shower is located on the main floor and very small. We didn’t have too much trouble parking our vehicles despite their size, but it could get tight with more than 2."
