I could spend the rest of my life with her there enjoying every minute of it. It's going to be our anniversary stay every year after this. Great place to share with the person you love for a get away from the crazy in life and just relax. If you're caught up with how busy daily life is. This is the perfect place to relax and remember what is really important in life and how sweet the small things truly are. The host was amazing and welcoming. Couldn't dream of a better place to fall in love. "

"The cottage at River Bird Lodge was excellent. It's very nice, clean, well appointed. It's great for a couple or a small family. The cottage layout has a bedroom and common living area with a full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, which is not always the case. It sits on a large property with a lot of woods to explore, as well as the river. This time of year the river is pretty low, so you can easily access the riverbed.. Niki was very responsive and easy to work with. I gave only 4 stars on the listing accuracy question only because there was mention of chickens and goats and my wife was excited for that, but they aren't there now....LOL. Otherwise the property is as advertised and then some. The only other item that I would call attention to is the fact that there are a 2 or 3 units together on the property so some elements like the fire pit may be shared. It wasn't a problem for us, we met some very nice folks around the fire....and Coach, who helps oversee the place was an absolute gem!"
