The property managers were incredibly helpful and responsive to the few things that needed attention during our stay. The pool area is the shining star of this home. You can expect the house/ furnishings to be in mostly good shape and as photographed-. The layout of the bedrooms/ shared bathrooms did surprise us a bit despite careful review of photos and listing video tour. Overall great stay!"

"We had an amazing long ski weekend at the Great Escape Ski Cottage. The listing is very accurate. Great communication with Shay. The house was immaculate upon arrival. The layout of the house was perfect for our family (6 adults and 4 children aged 4-9). One beautiful Master Bedroom on the first floor. Two of the other equally beautiful bedrooms are on the second floor. The linens were hotel quality! The "Kid's Quarters" was located off of the kitchen/laundry room. A playroom with multiple games...

It was the best decision, large group and we had plenty of places to sleep, the yard gave ample space for activities, the sound system kept us entertained, and the kitchen made hosting a large group a breeze. "We had a wonderful trip, the kitchen is fully stocked with tons of kitchen tools, 2 slow cookers, etc! Cooking basics were available, soaps, dishwasher pods etc! The rooms were great! The playroom was amazing for all the kids! We had a wonderful time and will be back! "

" The house has a beautiful location and the view of the lake is beautiful. There are several things to do in the surrounding areas such as hiking, horseback riding, shopping and nice restaurants. The house was overall nice. It has a combination of very nice updates and a few needed updates. The couches are extremely uncomfortable. Our host was responsive for the most part."

"Our family of 4 really enjoyed staying in this cozy, comfortable and beautifully-decorated farmhouse. Communication with the owners was easy and they had lots of great tips for enjoying the area, and the house had all of the essentials needed for a great weekend away. We’d intended to ski at nearby Catamount or Butternut but didn't manage to book lessons in time (lesson learned: book early for holiday weekends!), but Jiminy Peak was a great alternative an easy day trip further north. "We had an exceptional time at this property. You are right in the middle if a very quiet town of Catskill in the Hudson valley. Gas fireplace was very quick at heating up the entire house and the full kitchen has everything you need to make an amazing meal (if you buy the ingredients from nearby farm markets or stores)Will definitely be staying here qgain"
