"Loved Carcasonne. Hotel room was up many many stairs so for elderly it was not a reasonable choice. The village was amazing, restaurants excellent and the hotel was charming. "

A grand, imposing building directly opposite the Basilicca puts it at the heart of the old city. Excellent service, lovely comfortable rooms and a garden that is great for relaxing in the afternoon sun."

"The medieval city of Carcossonne is amazing, like stepping back in time, and staying at the Hotel De La Cite just contributes to this feeling (although only build in 1880's).
