"The stag was incredibly friendly. The location is really great. The room that we “upgraded to” was tiny. They also told us when we checked in they upgraded us further to a nicer room than we purchased but I didn’t see how that could be. The room was just a bed with a small desk and a bathroom. Again, great staff, great location but the room itself left something to be desired. We could clearly hear the people in the room across the hall as if they were standing in the bathroom talking to us....

"Clean room and accommodations. It can be bit difficult to find but there's a bar below with the name and just go in there and ask and they will get you settled in. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would stay again."

"Hotel Porto Roca is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are brand new - super clean, modern, wonderful bathroom. Our room was a 2 room suite with a large balcony overlooking the sea - absolutely stunning views. Breakfast buffet was very nice with a large selections. Hotel offers transportation to and from main part of town - a very short walk but with luggage transportation is was very beneficial. Highly highly recommend this hotel . "

"Great location between Corniglia and Manarola. Hotel perched up 1,000 ft above sea level and you can see down coast to Monterosso. Removed from noise of towns: quiet stay, amazing breakfast, friendly and accommodating staff and free shuttle to town hourly. "Beautiful location, restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Lots of stairs on the property. Had a toy room and playground that our toddler loved. Easy to take the bus to Riomaggiore (10 min ride, 2.50 Euro per person)"
